OUR STORY
Professional potters Amanda Leipert and Julie Hickman have over 50+ years combined experience in their field. They share their love of clay in their personal work as well as their inthusasm in the classroom. They offer pottery classes and events for children and adults alike!
They have worked together since 2008, having met at Historic Cold Spring Village where they shared their pottery skills with visitors from around the world. From there it blossomed into opening The Madd Potters´ Studio later that year. They have had several incarnations throughout the county over the years.

In 2019 they opened the doors at the Cape May County Airport location where they combine their love of teaching and creating in one space.
From their humble beginnings of selling primarily their own work, to now offering artisan wares created both locally and sourced from around the country, The Madd Potters Studio strives to be your go-to shop when you need that special, one of a kind gift. At their Cape May County Airport location you can shop, relax and enjoy the experience of making pottery yourself.
